 Protecting your privacy and your personal data is very important to us and we want you to feel safe and comfortable when visiting our branches and using our website.

 Below is more information about the data we collect when you visit our branch and/or use our website, including retention times and the rights you have as a data subject and the responsibilities of a data controller.  

 

WHAT ARE PERSONAL DATA AND WHO IS DATA CONTROLLER

Personal data enable persons (data subjects) to be directly or indirectly identified. The person whose identity can be determined is a person who is directly or indirectly identifiable using identifiers, such as name, ID number, location, IP address, and similar). 

 Dubravica is a data controller and specifies the purposes, manner and methods of collecting and processing of your personal data.

 

THE DATA WE COLLECT FROM THE DATA SUBJECTS VISITING OUR BRANCHES  

Some of our branches have video surveillance. 

The purpose of processing your personal data collected through video surveillance is the protection of people and property. The lawful basis for the collection of your personal data using video surveillance is the legitimate interest of the data controller. 

The data controller has appointed individuals who have access to video surveillance and a data protection officer who is available for providing more information at zop@pekara-dubravica.hr

The data controller will not disclose any personal data collected through video surveillance to third parties (as recipients) and shall not transfer them outside the European Union. Personal data collected through video surveillance may be transferred to third parties if recordings made using video surveillance are exempted by the authorities, as the law and statutory rules provide. 

Personal data collected through video surveillance will be kept for 30 days and automatically deleted on the expiry of that term, but may be retained longer if necessary for the data controller’s compliance with a legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.  

The data subject has the right of access to personal data collected by the data controller concerning him or her and also has the right to request rectification, erasure or to restrict their processing. The data subject has the right to object to the processing of personal data and request the data controller to enable their portability. The rights of data subjects can be exercised by sending a question/request/objection to the above address. Data subjects also have the right to lodge their complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency.

 Use of our website for informational purposes only

If you are using our website for informational purposes only, i.e. you have not submitted your personal data by completing the contact form, registration form or similar, only data sent from your browser to our server will be collected. For technical purposes and in order to ensure a better performance, stability and security of our website, the following data will be collected:

Social Media Plugins

We are currently using Facebook and Instagram plugins.

 Plugins can be recognised as there are icons and checkboxes with the initial letters or logos in the main menu on our website. Please note that we are using the so-called double-click solution, which means that your data are not transferred to plugin providers when you access our website. We enable you to click on the checkbox above the initial letter or logo and initiate direct communication. Only after you click on the checkbox to activate it will the plugin provider be informed of your website access. The plugin provider will then be transferred your data listed under the heading ‘Which data we collect from our website visitors’.

 Plugins enable us to offer you the option of integrating social media and other users and that enables us to improve our offer and make it more attractive to you as our customer. 

 Dubravica has no impact on data collection and processing procedures and has no knowledge of the full scope of data collection, purposes for which they are being collected and retention periods applied by plugin providers or information on the erasure of collected personal data by plugin providers.Data will be transferred regardless ofwhether you have an account open with the plugin provider and whether you are logged in.  If you are logged in the data we have collected will be directly linked to your account with the plugin provider. When you are using the activated button and, for example, establish a link to the page, the plugin provider will store that information on your user account and publicly share it with your contacts. We recommend that you log out after using a social media network, especially before activating the button, because that way you will disable plugin providers from connecting data to your accounts.

 Plugin providers will store data collected from you as a user profile to be used for marketing, market research and/or to adjust its website to users. The data will be used (even for unregistered users) to show personalised ads and so that other social media users would be informed about activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creating of user profile and for that purpose the plugin provider has to be contacted.

Implementation of Google Maps services

On our website we use Google Maps. That way we can show you an interactive map and enable you to use its functionalities in a simple way. 

 When you visit our website Google will be notified that you have visited a specific webpage. That happens regardless of whether you have signed in using your Google Account. Google is sent page, browser and user information as well, as described under the subheading ‘Use of our website for informational purposes only’. When you are registered with Google, your personal data are directly assigned to your account. If you do not want your personal data to be assigned to your Google Account, prior to activating the button you have to sign out. Google will store your data as a user profile and use them for marketing and market research purposes and/or to adjust its website. That will be carried out primarily (applies on unregistered users as well) for direct marketing purposes and so that other social media users would be informed of activities on our website. Legal basis for data collection, processing purposes and retention period

The legal basis for the use of social media plugins, cookies, Google maps and collecting protocol data is Article 6, paragraph 1, of the General Data Protection Regulation, as data processing is necessary for legitimate data collector or third-party interests. 

The purpose of data processing is a long-term and continuous website and user experience improvement. 

The data are erased as soon as they are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected.

 

Registered users

If you are using our website as a registered user, a member of the Dubravica Club, your personal data that are being collected and processed are listed in the General Terms and Conditions for Using the DUBRAVICA CLUB Membership Benefits you have agreed to when completing our online or printed Registration Form.

The legal basis for data collection is the data subject’s voluntary, free and explicit consent.

When you contact us by email or contact form, the data you have submitted (email, name and phone number) will be used exclusively to enable us to answer your questions. Personal data we require will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary or we will restrict their processing if there is a legal obligation to keep them stored.

You have the right to access your personal data and you have the right to receive your personal data provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You have the right to ask Dubravica to correct or erase your personal data or to restrict the processing or their transfer and you can also object to processing. If you consented to data processing, you shall have the right to withdraw consent at any time, fully or partially. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
